FOUNDING AND GROWTH OF IMH

Move from Bad Langensalza to
Burgtonna in 1998

IMH was founded on November 2nd, 1992, in Bad Langensalza and moved its location in 1998 from Bad Langensalza to Burgtonna, where it purchased an property of approximately 6,000 m2 including an assembly building. Due to constant growth in the size of the orders received by the company, a new and larger assembly building was built in 2002, creating even more jobs.

The new building enabled the company to accept an increasing volume of piping and system component prefabrication orders. This development combined with the rising demand for painted pump frames and pipelines motivated IMH to build yet another building in 2005 to house a spray booth. In 2011, a building dedicated entirely to storage of the various materials utilised by IMH was constructed and inventory management processes were established. In December 2013, the adjacent property including its building were purchased with the intent of adapting the building and exterior facilities to the needs of IMH over the coming years. With this measure, IMH expanded its production area to a current total of 10,000 m2 in 5 buildings.
