EXPANDING

In 2009, IMH invested in a cold-drawing expanding machine capable of creating branches of DN25 to DN150 in various types of pipes. This process minimises the material cost for purchased, ready-made tee elements including the necessary welding work. Many system builders place increasing importance on the flow of the medium, and IMH is almost always able to satisfy the wishes of the system builders and end customers. This expanding procedure can be used on steel and stainless steel pipes. The procedure is also well-suited for manifolds requiring identically or variously sized branches. IMH also supplies manifolds and expanded pipe elements with various branches to other piping companies.
